Privacy Policy - AimSync
Perfect Your Aim Across Every Game
Welcome to AimSync
At AimSync, we treat your data with the same precision we apply to your sensitivity calculations. This policy outlines how we collect, process, and protect information when you use our crosshair generator, DPI converter, and aim tracking dashboard. We are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
What We Collect
We only collect data necessary to deliver accurate sensitivity conversions and personalized aim profiles. This includes your mouse DPI, polling rate, in-game sensitivity values (e.g., Valorant, CS2, Overwatch 2), and optional Steam or Epic Games IDs if you choose to sync your crosshair settings. We do not collect raw mouse movement coordinates, keystroke logs, or biometric data. Analytics data, such as page load times and feature usage frequency, is aggregated and anonymized using Plausible Analytics, which respects cookie-less tracking standards.
How We Use Your Information
Your input values are processed client-side in your browser whenever possible. When server-side calculation is required for cross-game eDPI normalization, data is transmitted over TLS 1.3 encryption and discarded after the session concludes. Account-linked preferences are stored in our PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS Frankfurt (eu-central-1) for exactly 36 months of inactivity, after which they are permanently purged. We never sell, rent, or share your aim profiles with third-party advertisers, esports organizations, or hardware manufacturers.
Your Privacy Rights
Under GDPR and CCPA, you retain full control over your information. You may request a complete data export in JSON format, modify stored sensitivity presets, or initiate account deletion directly from your dashboard settings. For formal requests, email privacy@aimsync.tools with the subject line “Data Request – [Your Username]”. We verify all identity claims within 48 hours and fulfill compliant requests within 30 calendar days. California residents may also opt out of the sale of personal information, though we do not engage in such practices.
Policy Updates & Contact
AimSync updates this policy to reflect changes in our sensitivity algorithms, data infrastructure, or regulatory requirements. Material changes will trigger an in-app notification and an email to your registered address. For technical inquiries regarding our data handling procedures, reach out to our compliance officer, Elias Vance, at compliance@aimsync.tools or via our secure contact form. Your aim is our priority, and your privacy is non-negotiable.
